“If you’re looking for something elegant, warm and delightful, go to the Dawg.”
Wall Street Journal

Legendary acoustic innovators, David Grisman Quintet, bring their signature “Dawg” sound to the Mount Baker Theatre in a rare NW appearance. “Dawg” is a blend of many stylistic influences including swing, bluegrass, latin, jazz and gypsy, creating an intricate and unique roots music.

Renowned for his seminal work with Jerry Garcia and Peter Rowan of “Old and in the Way”, virtuoso mandolinist, David Grisman has been nominated for five Grammy awards and recorded with Tony Rice, Bela Fleck, Bonnie Rait, the Grateful Dead, Stephane Grappelli, Doc Watson, Emmy Lou Harris and Earl Scruggs.

DGQ has won numerous awards and headlined at major jazz, folk and bluegrass festivals around the world. DGQ also features bassist Jim Kerwin, multi-instrumentalist Joe Craven, flutist Matt Eakle, and Argentine guitarist Enrique Coria.

Join us for a laid-back evening of good tunes and fantastic musicianship – dawg style!
